• Strategy: growth capital and buy-out private-equity investments for supporting SMEs with products or services of excellence for energy efficiency and sustainable growth. Investments in renewable energy infrastructures or in early-stage companies may be pursued in compliance with the fund’s rules.
• Geographical focus: Italy; opportunities in Germany, Switzerland and Israel may be considered in co-investment with experienced top-tier local partners.
• Value creation: deep knowledge and understanding of the energy industry and of the industrial and technological related aspects; strategic and commercial support to the portfolio companies in order to boost their growth path.
• Governance: large minorities bearing governance rights or control positions, in certain cases with other co-investors. Particular attention on interest alignment and on a clear growth and exit strategy.
